A textile manufacturer used aluminum sulphate as coagulant, anionic polymer as a flocculation adjuvant and a decoloring agent for the treatment of 75 m3/h of effluent. The analyses of the treated effluent showed low efficiency in the clarification, high levels of residual aluminum and high levels of color.

Flox®-QT was tested in the laboratory in order to improve the clarification of the effluent, eliminate the residual aluminum and remove color. The good results obtained in laboratory Jar-Tests and at industrial scale led to the approval of Flox®-QT for permanent use in the WWTP.
